What customization options are available for Bock fixtures—including colors, materials, special features, and certifications?

Bock offers several customization options:

Colors & Finishes: Custom powder coating is available in RAL, Dunn Edwards, and other color matches—often at no additional charge. Specify the color code or physical sample for matching.

Materials: Our fixtures are primarily metal-based (steel, aluminum). We cannot produce fixtures from wood. Requests for plastic or acrylic components (e.g., lenses, guards) are evaluated case-by-case; some edge-lit polycarbonate or frosted plastic elements may be feasible depending on design and volume.

Special Features: Modifications like custom stems (e.g., 65" or 120"), swivel canopies, gooseneck arms, catenary mounting, and unique bracketry are possible. RGBW/color-changing LED is under active development but not yet standard—larger globes (e.g., 18"+) may accommodate RGB LEDs. UL certification support is available; single-fixture conversions may be done at no cost under our UL general coverage, while larger runs may incur fees.

Limitations: Highly specialized items (e.g., chandeliers, closet-rated fixtures, string-light poles) may be outside current capabilities. Feasibility depends on engineering review and minimum quantities.
