Maintenance/Warranty

How do I submit a warranty claim for a defective Bock fixture, and what is the process for getting a replacement?

To submit a warranty claim, complete and electronically sign the warranty form at https://www.bocklighting.com/form/support-warranty. Include photos of the issue, the original PO number, and a description of the problem.

Once submitted, a Bock representative reviews the claim with you to determine whether the issue is a manufacturing defect or installer error. In many cases the determination can be made from the photos and description you provide. If photos aren't conclusive, the defective fixture needs to be returned for evaluation so Bock and the customer can confirm the cause together. See our troubleshooting guide for help isolating common issues (LED damage, driver failures, sealing, voltage) before returning parts. If confirmed as a manufacturing defect, Bock covers return freight and ships the replacement at no charge; if the issue is determined to be installer error, the customer is responsible for all freight and replacement costs.

Customers typically have two options for handling the replacement:

  • Return defective parts first: You return the defective parts, and replacements ship after they're received and evaluated. A return label is provided by email. There is no deadline for this option, but if the fixture is out of warranty by the time it's returned it cannot be processed under warranty terms.
  • PO for replacement first: You place a PO for replacement parts so the replacement ships immediately. A return label is included with the replacement shipment, and the defective parts must be returned within 60 days. If they aren't returned in that window the replacements become non-returnable.

Per our Terms of Sale, warranty returns must occur within 60 days. Full terms: https://www.bocklighting.com/sale/terms

For discontinued models, Bock will offer the closest available replacement (e.g., the LAC01 has been replaced by the LAC02). If you prefer to skip the evaluation process, you may place a PO for the replacement part directly — part numbers are provided upon request.
