What types of damage are not covered under warranty, and how should I handle issues like LED burn marks or flickering?

Damage caused by improper installation—such as connecting the fixture directly to line voltage—is not covered under warranty. This includes black spots or burn marks on the LED chip, which are typically the result of installer error. In these cases, replacement parts can be provided at the customer’s expense. Please provide your original PO number to receive the correct part number and pricing.

For flickering issues, basic troubleshooting may be required before a replacement is issued. Common causes include a failing thermal switch or driver. You may be asked to swap the driver with one from a working fixture to isolate the problem. If the issue follows the driver, it’s likely a driver failure; if it stays with the fixture, it may be an LED or thermal switch issue. Always include photos, voltage details, and the original PO number when reporting flickering.
